My Story

Hello! I’ve been a professional writer/producer and strategic brand consultant for almost 25 years, helping clients build successful brands with creative impact, financial results, and long-term value.

Nothing is more powerful in connecting people than a strong story. My academic background was uniquely devoted to story and human narratives – including my degree in English, a Masters in Communications, and a Film & TV Producers Lab certificate from the Canadian Film Centre. Combining these schools of study with practical marketing execution, short and feature length screenwriting, and business experience means an integrated marriage of strategy and tactics, where every touchpoint within a company is on point.

I’ve worked with a large spectrum of clients, from ‘mom-and-pops’ to multi-nationals in such sectors as new community development, home building, travel and tourism, culinary and packaged goods, arts and entertainment. I now operate remotely from beautiful Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, in my office by the sea, but am available to travel for client projects.

My Services

I work direct for clients and/or with boutique agencies, bringing with me a network of multi-disciplinary partners and suppliers to provide selective or turn-key services:
